Our awesome journey in the subject MIL

(media and information literacy)

Our journey started this year as we continued our studies in senior high school, at first we thought that MIL was boring and we expected that the teacher didn’t have the skills to make our class more fun and interesting, but our expectations turned into complete opposite it is more fun, more interesting and we learned easily. The teacher always conducts oral recitations and advised us to study our lessons well.

Even though we haven’t fully grasped the lesson, at least we are halfway to understanding its context with the guide of our teacher. He always makes sure that we will always be engaged in the subject so that we can learn easily. He always makes sure that we enjoy his subject and have a high level of interactivity during our discussions. His oral recitations are a great help for us and it gives us the capability to answer our examinations, quizzes, and activities.

For us, he is the most entertaining teacher that we ever had. Unlike other teachers, he is like a student, our classmate and a friend that always makes us laugh and learn at the same time. This subject has a huge impact on us as a student it improves our communication skills and our pronunciation skills. We discovered that even though this subject is not a major subject, yet it helped a lot to develop us to be ready soon.

This awesome journey that we experienced was worth it! We are glad that this kind of subject existed as well as the teacher. Hoping that this kind of teacher will inspire the incoming teachers and students like us. Many of us complain a lot that the k-12 program is absolute trash, yes it is true, but we are also thankful that we have a chance to learn about Media Information Literacy or also known as MIL.
